My employer is Telecom Operator dealing with both Voice and Data (Internet) Services. As a Manager for NGN network, my core duties includes Management, control and administration of NGN network covering both IP/MPLS core, Brodband Network and NGN switching. The other core role is  participation in the development of the core network. This includes provision of IP Transit services to local ISP, Academic Instituions, Government offices etc

Our network is basically divided into three parts:
-Access Network: ADSL Broadband and Fiber technologies are used
-Edge/Convergent Network: Edge Routers and Broadband Remote Access Servers are deployed
-Core Network: Carrier Class Routers are deployed to form an IP/MPLS core. The same core is connected to Internet via submarine cables
